Training and Induction Programme
Notaro Live in Care understands the importance of the training and induction to be of the highest standard.
We heavily invest in our workforce to ensure that quality of service and the safety and well being of our clients is never compromised. All members of staff have to complete an induction programme and mandatory training in line with current regulations. The mandatory training is ongoing and updated throughout your career with Notaro Live in Care. The units covered in mandatory training include the following subjects:
- First Aid
- Manual Handling
- Fire Safety
- Infection Control
- Food Hygiene
- Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
- Care and administration of medicines
Due to the nature of the job, all training has to be completed prior to any carer commencing a start date with a service user. The mandatory training and induction will be administered across a 5 day inclusive training programme. Only staff employed by Notaro Live in Care will be paid during this training.
In addition to regulatory training, we provide specialist training according to the service users needs, such as Dementia, PEG feeding training and more. We also encourage all staff to complete an NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
