The benefits of Live in Care:

In fact, there are a wide variety of care options available and most people needing care or support are able to remain in their own homes.

The type of care service you can receive depends mainly on your care needs; from the type to the severity of your condition. For example, if your condition seriously affects your mental capacity or physical ability, you may need a higher level of care and support.

With all the options available to you, choosing care services that is right for you can be an overwhelming prospect, but you can start with thinking about your specific requirements and what might you need in order to help you retain the best quality of life;

Remain at home

You may want to remain in your own home with all its comforts and familiarities but to have someone come in and provide you with the support you need to continue living your life in the way you choose to.

Homecare can support with day to day tasks such as, personal care (washing, dressing, and assistance to the toilet), cleaning and laundry, prompting medication, preparing food, going to and from appointments/social activities and much more. A carer would come into your home on days and times that suit you, from 30 minutes up to a full 24 hour visit. Homecare is flexible and adapts to your needs.

If you would like to remain at home but with a full time companion, Live in Care can provide a carer to live with you providing support with all your care needs and offering extra security and peace of mind for friends and family, that care is always on hand. Live in Care is a great solution for those wanting to continue to live at home in familiar and relaxed surroundings with an unrivalled level of one to one care and support, whilst retaining independence and control. Care is organised on your terms and meets existing preferences, such as meal times, hobbies, medication and care routines. As your needs change, Live in care has the flexibility to develop with you.

Moving into Residential Care

You may want to consider Residential Care, if living in your own home is no longer realistic or practical and you like the idea of meeting new people, always having company and trained staff on hand; access to regular organised activities and no worries about utility bills, cooking meals or doing household tasks.

When choosing a Care Home you must think about whether you need the home to provide nursing or personal care. Care homes providing personal care offer support with basic personal needs; assistance with meals, personal washing, going to the toilet, medication, activities/day trips. Nursing Homes provide the same services however they will have at least one registered nurse working there to accommodate people with medical conditions that require nursing attention.

With all these options in mind, we have put together a simple comparison for you to consider all the variables and to help you to make a decision that is right for you;

Below is a simple comparison of advantages; consider all the variables and decide for yourself if Live in Care is the right choice for you.
